USDA Dietary Guidelines
For our the 2021-2022 school year the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) has allowed school districts to continue to feed all children breakfast and lunch meals at no cost. Since meals are free for all our students, families will not need to fill out the typical meal application to receive those meals. All student’s benefit by having access to nutritious breakfast and lunch meals. Under the Local Control Funding Formula (LCFF), a portion of state-funding is determined based on the demographics of a districts student population. We typically use the USDA meal applications to collect this data for the state. Since we will not have meal applications to acquire these numbers we need to collect this information by having families complete the Household Income Data Collection Form. By taking the time to fill out this form you are taking part in a process that provides thousands of dollars in funds to the school your student attends. Our goal is to ensure that El Dorado Union High School District’s students receive the maximum amount of funds that we are eligible to receive by encouraging ALL families to complete this form. To receive the maximum amount we are eligible to receive, we must have 100% of students/families access this form online at:
